About Kaitlyn Hart, LMT

Founder of Heart Space Massage & Bodywork

I believe that truly effective bodywork requires a strong clinical foundation, hands-on experience, and, most importantly, genuine care for every person who walks through the door. At Heart Space Massage & Bodywork, my approach is rooted in all three.

My path began with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Virginia Tech, where I became fascinated by the connection between physical health, movement, and mental well-being. I knew early on that I wanted a career where I could be active, work directly with people, and help others heal.

I went on to complete a comprehensive 900-hour massage therapy program at the Massage Therapy Institute of Colorado—significantly beyond what’s required in New Mexico—to ensure I had the knowledge and skills to offer deep, effective, and safe bodywork. Since then, I’ve built private practices in Denver, Albuquerque, and now Santa Fe, and have worked alongside chiropractors, sports massage therapists, and a Naprapath. Each experience has deepened my understanding of the body as both a biomechanical system and an emotional, intuitive vessel.

Outside the treatment room, I’m passionate about movement in my own life—previously through bodybuilding and powerlifting, and now as a dedicated trail runner. Living in Santa Fe, I love exploring the mountains by foot, bike, or skis. This lived experience helps me connect with clients who are athletic, recovering from injury, or simply trying to stay active and resilient.

Currently, I’m pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling to expand my ability to support the mind-body connection. I’m especially interested in how emotional stress, trauma, and nervous system dysregulation can show up in the body—and how bodywork can be a powerful tool for integration and healing.

At Heart Space, my goal is to support your body in doing what it was designed to do: move, heal, adapt, and thrive. Whether you're training, recovering, or simply seeking balance, I’m here to help you feel grounded, aligned, and supported in your body.
